Day 23: Part II - Not Dead Yet 🌚

Day 23: Part II - Not Dead Yet 🌚

I managed to get out for a short evening run today, starting at around 7:20 PM. It was completely dark, and honestly, not the most enjoyable experience. My legs—especially the right calf muscle—were still in pain, but I pushed through. The streak continues, and I didn’t throw in the towel!

Here are the stats for tonight’s run:
🏃‍♂️ Distance: 3.62 km
⏱️ Total Time: 23:38
⚡ Pace: 6:32/km
❤️ Avg. HR: 124 BPM

It wasn’t a great run physically; the tiredness from the last 23 days is really catching up to me. But mentally, it was a solid victory. Sometimes, just getting out there and moving forward is the win.

One thing I realized tonight is how much I appreciate morning runs. Evening runs have their charm, but when you’re on a challenge or a structured training plan, there’s something special about starting the day with a run. It sets the tone, clears the mind, and lets you go through the rest of the day without that “I still need to get my run in” feeling. If I didn’t already know this, tonight just confirmed it—morning runs are my thing.

Tomorrow, it’s time for the 10K. Let’s see how it goes.
